He was an FAO Fellow and employed at Indian Council of Forestry Research and Education (previously FRI & Colleges, Dehradun) under Ministry of Environment and Forests, Govt. of India. He has teaching experience at FRI University, Eastern Forest Rangers College, Kurseong, visiting Lecturer, Raja Narendra Lal Khan Women\u2019s College, Medinipur.\u00a0 He was Asst. (a) He stood 2nd rank at West Bengal Statistical Service (W.B.S.S.) [under Public Service Commission in West Bengal] during the period 1983-84 and started his career as an ASSISTANT DIRECTOR<\/strong>, under Bureau of Applied Economics and Statistics, Govt. of West Bengal.<\/p>\n

Gradually he was promoted to West Bengal Higher Statistical Service (W.B.H.S.S.) as DEPUTY DIRECTOR<\/strong>; West Bengal General Service (W.B.G.S.) as ADDITIONAL DIRECTOR<\/strong>. Finally he was promoted to the post of DIRECTOR<\/strong> (under Bureau of Applied Economics and Statistics: Department of Planning and Statistics, Govt. of West Bengal.)<\/p>\n
