Dr. Jiban Krishna Nath; S/o Lt. Gobinda Ch. Nath, Sammilani member, teacher, and Poet from Basirhat, 24 Pgns (N). Dr. Nath was the longest serving Editor, Yogisakha. He did his M. A. and Ph. D.; a retire School Teacher and NCC First Officer (Gaz.). He is also the Editor of ‘Dinanter Asar’ Patrika and Vice President ‘Uttaran’, Dhakuria a Welfare Society for the disabled.

Dr. Sabhapati Nath (67) S/o Lt. Manoranjan Nath and Lt. Kusum Nath (from Bikrampur, Dhaka), did M. Sc. and Ph. D. in Agricultural Chemistry and Soil Science from Calcutta University. He was an FAO Fellow and employed at Indian Council of Forestry Research and Education (previously FRI & Colleges, Dehradun) under Ministry of Environment and Forests, Govt. of India. He has teaching experience at FRI University, Eastern Forest Rangers College, Kurseong, visiting Lecturer, Raja Narendra Lal Khan Women’s College, Medinipur. He was Asst. Secretary of the Sammilani from 2015 to 2018.

Sri Tushar Ranjan Nath, S/o Late Nalini Ranjan Nath and Late Roma Nath. He is M.Sc. in Statistics, Ex Deputy Director (Statistics), Government of West Bengal.

Mr. TAPAS KUMAR DEBNATH (Date of Birth – 15.01.1957), son of Late Dr. Harendra Chandra Debnath, D.M.S. and Late Charu Bala Debnath (Mother) is residing at 120/7, Garfa Main Road, P.O. – Santoshpur, P.S. – Garfa, Kolkata – 700075, West Bengal, India. He took charge of the post of secretary namely Assam Banga Yogi Sammilani for the period 2024-2027.

He did M.Sc. (Statistics) from Kalyani University and B.Sc. from Calcutta University.

Early Status of Economic Activities –
He discharged his duties at,
(a) UNICEF CRESSIDA PROJECT
(b) Comprehensive Area Development Corporation (under Panchayat and Rural Development Department), Govt. of West Bengal.
(c) Central Coalfields Limited (Coal India), Govt. of India.

Final Status –
(a) He stood 2nd rank at West Bengal Statistical Service (W.B.S.S.) [under Public Service Commission in West Bengal] during the period 1983-84 and started his career as an ASSISTANT DIRECTOR, under Bureau of Applied Economics and Statistics, Govt. of West Bengal.

Gradually he was promoted to West Bengal Higher Statistical Service (W.B.H.S.S.) as DEPUTY DIRECTOR; West Bengal General Service (W.B.G.S.) as ADDITIONAL DIRECTOR. Finally he was promoted to the post of DIRECTOR (under Bureau of Applied Economics and Statistics: Department of Planning and Statistics, Govt. of West Bengal.)

(b) During his service he was honoured as an EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEMBER (INDIAN ASSOCIATION FOR RESEARCH IN NATIONAL INCOME AND WEALTH – NEW DELHI (2017–2019).

(c) He also served as a GUEST LECTURER (under Ananda Chandra College, Jalpaiguri, Government sponsored, affiliated to University of North Bengal).

(f) He was invited to deliver a lecture at a Seminar (jointly organised by Indian Association for Productivity, Quality & Reliability and PRESIDENCY UNIVERSITY at RESIDENCY UNIVERSITY Campus, Kolkata).

Social Activity
(a) He was an Executive Committee Member during the periods 2012–2015 and 2021–2024 of Assam Banga Yogi Sammilani.

(b) He discharged his duties as a CHIEF ELECTION COMMISSIONER under Bibekanagar Debalay Samity (Govt. Registration No. S/9228) during the periods 2020 and 2023 for two terms.

Writer
He wrote a book, titled: “MY GOLDEN RICE ‘AUS’ YOU COME BACK”
It was awarded by Nobel Laureate Amartya Sen and many other dignitaries.
He was also honoured by Dr. Ashis Banerjee, Deputy Speaker, West Bengal Legislative Assembly.

Cultural Secretary

Smt. Sikha Nath, W/o Sri Amit Kumar Nath of 22, Mukherjee Para Lane, Kolkata 700 031. Being a musician and Sitarist, Smt. Nath has taken active part in organising cultural programmes as Convener especially during annual Sammilani events like AGM, Vijaya Sammelan, Anniversary celebration of Acharya Radha Gobinda Nath.

Yogisakha Partika Manager & Cashier

Sri Narayan Nath Majumdar, S/o Lt. Chandra Kanta Majumdar and Lt. Banalata Majumdar from erstwhile Noakhali. He has passed H. S. from Karimganj Govt. H. S. School and then B.A. from Heramba Chandra College, Kolkata. He served Indian Railways and retired as Station Supervisor, Metro Railway, Kolkata. Sri Majumdar is very keen to serve the Nath Community and pays utmost interest for all types of Sammilani activities.

Sri Pintu Mozumder, S/o Lt. Harihar Mozumder and Lt. Parulbala Mozumder, is associated with the Sammilani for a long time and consistently a hard worker. Sri Mozumder was a brilliant footballer and represented renowned First Division Clubs like Bata, Kumartuli, Wari and Kalighat of Kolkata. Presently he is a businessman and Executive Member of Jadavpur Byabsayee Samiti.

Sri Samiran Debnath, S/o Lt. Umesh Ch. Debnath and Anjali Debnath. After graduation, Sri Debnath joined Indian Airforce and served there for 20 years as Technical (Engineering) service. He later joined State Bank of India and presently posted as Field Officer in Panskura Branch. His motivation and leadership inspired the youth in his locality to organise annual Vijaya Sammelan, 2019 at Katwa which was celebrated with utmost grandeur and probably one of the most remarkable events ever organised.

Sri Salil Kumar Nath S/o Lt. Kshetra Mohan Nath, a businessman and Social worker, originally from Chattagram. Sri Nath (H. S. qualified) is a prominent Businessman and Social worker; an active member of the Sammilani.

Sri Gautam Kr Debnath; S/o Sri Ramesh Ch. Debnath and Smt. Pratibha Debnath is B. Tech (Civil) and B. Arch. Sri Debnath is a senior executive of a multinational company. The role played by him for successful Vijaya Sammelan, 2019 at Katwa is commendable.

Sri Sourav Kumar Nath, S/o Tapas Kr. Nath and Smt. Bejoya Nath. Sri Nath, an undergraduate, is associated with his own business related to computer appliances. He is popular for his volunteer services and dedication for the development of Jateswar Nath Shiva Temple at Mahanad, Hooghly. He is well versed with Nath Panths, Yogi religious sects, known to many Yogi saints and has visited many holy and religious places associated with Yogi Community.
