Shri Nagendra Bhushan Majumdar , Vice-President of Assam Banga Yogi Sammilani passed away on October 9, 2023 at 12-05 PM at the age of 82 years and went to Param Dham. He was born in Babupur of Noakhali district in 1940. His father was Late Ramachandra Majumdar and mother Late Nirmala Devi. Shri Majumdar was associated with school teaching and later joined his own business. After partition, he lived in his own residence at Chittaranjan Colony in Jadavpur. For many years he was associated with Sammilani and was one of the members of the working committee. Apart from holding the post of vice-president, he was the publisher of ‘Yogishkha’ magazine for more than a decade. He was engaged in various social welfare works and toured many districts for the development of Sammilani. His death is an irreparable loss to the organization. We are deeply saddened and pray for the eternal peace of his departed soul. OM Shanti Shanti Shanti !
