Assam Banga Yogi Sammilani

The Nath Yogi community is an ancient traditional religious community in India. The Nath Yogis constitutes the Nath community. From ancient times Nathyog Siddhas among the Shaivayogis have attained greatness and influenced many in India and abroad. Shiva or Adinath is the deity of this community. The Nath’s practice and follow the path of yoga to worship and seek the Absolute. In this Guru-Shishya tradition, Nath Siddhas attain Siddhi or Shivattwa in their pursuit of the Absolute and get recognized as Shiva-avatar. Nathpantha introduced by Guru Matsyendranath or Meennath and Gorakkhanath is the ideal path which is followed by Nath Yogis.
